I look for the revenue-generating activities, the things actually producing income, and I look for the ineffective ones, the tasks eating your day and returning nothing. I trace where your time goes, where your money goes, and where your profit disappears before it reaches you. I measure performance against the goal you say you are chasing, and I find the gap between the two.
